Hmm ... what about new content (new instances ? new armour sets ?) or bug fixes ? Are those included in the August patches ?

hastur, the new set bonuses are the same but only activate if you have 2+ pieces. Like the fortis amplio part, do you get double 2 piece bonuses or only the bonus once?

I hope that the list is NOT exhaustive - i.e. we are getting more in August than what is listed.

The list predominantly does not appear to add any new content to Requiem - no new quests, no new instances / dungeons, no new armour sets.

The changes which are listed seem to be largely cosmetic - addition of helmet (finally), tweaking bonuses to exisiting sets (how is the SL set changed exacatly ?), renaming of xeons and change of groupings for battle fields.

I'm not sure this is enough to encourage users to subscribe for yet another month of premium.

If this is what we get along with the new race. Then it shows promise... Not enough to subscribe again for most but if we got new quests to level up with then it would bring new hope. A new instance or 2 would be great

All I wanted was something else to do at 50+ other than the LEVEL 40!! instance of Secret Lab and Ruinhorn.

Helms can be interesting for a week or so, but a new instance or 2 can keep me hooked for much longer than that, perhaps long enough to warrant a renewed subscription...

ugh and the new set effect rules are going to be a pain because I had some really good stats on 2 pieces of armor that I got to fortis, and same for 2 pieces that are amplio and I had 1 melior... If I read it correctly I will have 2/5 and 2/5 set bonuses? I really don't want to ruin the reinforcements I got on the items already,

*sigh*

Suddenly we get no new race? Wtf o.O

Someone here failed at reading.

These are upcoming patches for August and is subject to change. This is not what we will be getting this coming Thursday maintenance.

We have 2 weeks of maintenance with no patches or changes to the game server. On July 30th, the Korea version got their Xenoa Race update. Since we are now a week behind their weekly update schedules, we are suppose to get it this coming Thursday, unless they decide to delay it for some technical reasons. If so, all hell is gonna break loose and it'll be the end of Requiem as we know it.

I sincerely hope the latter doesn't happen. Please Requiem don't make me play Dungeon Runners lol, It will be very bad if there isn't anything new added in the next 2 weeks.

Lawl the same can be said about you... The new race is coming this month and with all the translations it's highly unlikely to be coming this week. Maybe helms this week or one of these updates but the the xeona are unlikely

Looks like you failed at reading too.

Hastur - 7/30/2008 10:48 PM

Korea had no major update last week, and as we are now one week behind their scheduled updates, we will receive no major update.

As for the quests with everything else i will post more detailed information next weeks to come.

According to the CM, we have been getting the same updates and fixes the Korea version has been recieving. However, we are now one week behind them. What this mean? They got translators working on the content for us (English) as it's being created in Korean language. In order words, the contents are being translated as it is being in developement. Which is the proper way of doing things. Translating it later after the content is completed can lead to many coding errors.

The CM can correct me if I'm wrong.

they really need to reduce the timer on RH, one week is to big for a raid thats basically all what the level 60+ can do.. and give some random rewards when you do it.. i havent gotten an RH item in 2 weeks man.. proly even longer for other people.

..hehe..same like the most i guess.
Yes i heard there are not much quests etc around 60/61+....but...im not a big fan of questing..., i like it to grind/farm/drop-hunting - call it whatever u like ...finaly= i like party play - quests arent that much 'party-play'-combatible, every1 will do it (mostly) alone.

But...i think...we discuss in the wrong topic for this lets leave it for the patch-notes :D :D

I hoped to read that they will make Magic Attack Power Xeons work ... seems not oO

e/ "Ex) In the past, you could have set stat effect even with wearing items in different compounding stages like 'Fortis Frezia Upper Armor ' + 'Amplio Frezia Gloves ' + 'Ulterius Frezia Lower Armor.' But now, only the combination of items with same compounding stage like 'Fortis Frezia Upper Armor ' + 'Fortis Frezia Gloves ' + 'Fortis Frezia Lower Armor ' makes the set stat effect. Making several different set effects are also available by adjusting the set item count.
Ex) Fortis Frezia Upper Armor + Fortis Frezia Gloves = Two set effects
Amplio Frezia Lower Armor + Amplio Frezia Shoes = Two set effects"

Who the hell needs this update ... so you can´t upgrade your equip one by one, no you have to upgrade all together else you don´t get the full set-bonus. Please fix bugs instead of destroying the set-system

And dont forget to give us back our HP recovery, Soul hunters and the other classes can grind easily, warriors and defenders are pityfull past lvl 60, they need to beg for a party so they can grind, if they solo they will sit after each mob, hopefully in 2010 they can reach lvl 65 solo. I know that you removed the HP thingy for tests, but till when????

soul hunters will always grind easily, they make up been weak in pvp in the pve aspect. and every class needs to rest/needs a party to grind past 60.
