| I've got a Fide compound Xeon, and tried to use it on a weapon; but the blacksmith tells me that I cant use it on Fide Giant Sword, though the Xeon got a text telling me to use it on Fide weapons.
I tried another Fide weapon with ordinary text, failed to do so.
So what do I need to reinforce Fide weapons ?? |

| maybe its not compoundable?
but yeah i dont get the upgrade system...
i used a trainee xeon on a trainee armor that i had
and it didnt upgrade it to Fortis Trainee or whatever that it said it would
it didnt fail either...
i saw someone with like Ultra Fortis Trainee armors... how do I do this?? :P |

| For compounding, u need to find the compound NPC, not the reinforcement npc.
Only ordinary weapons are compoundable
ETC grade weapons are not. |

Location: /ho | You can't upgrade non-quality gear (white).
You should use COMPOUND blacksmith, not the one in first town, and add all the said items in correct ammounts. |

| So to upgrade say Trainee armor to the next level .. i dunno "Fortis Trainee Armor" or whatever the higher levels are, I go to compound NPC and bring Trainee Xeon and basic xeon and what else?? -- Ability xeons are hard to get...

10+10 simple basics= chance to get 10 supernus basic xeons, same with supernus basics for eximus, etc.
2int+2int reinforcement xeons= 3 int xeon.
2 hp reg+1mp reg xeons= 2 hp 1 mp reg xeon.
and so on |

| So in which town can I use the Xeons to upgrade weapons? I'm on Turba Island...
Also, I've got several Compound Xeons (Runing up to Ulterius) but they are Dull Compounds... My guess is that I won't be able to upgrade the Fides weapons... |

Location: southern usa | you end up selling half the xeons to the shop for lant, or auctioning them off. even though the chance of success probability may say "very high" AND all the ingredients are correct, for no apparent reason you may lose the item. and your lant. and your xeons. between the CB and now, i've lost four or five weapons. i've also has success with four in cb and three so far in ob. and compounded one twice to a fortis acer. i would done it again to an amplio, but chances were average. which i dont think means it wouldnt work, but i'm not eager to lose it yet.
you dont have to compound twice to reinforce twice. compound blacksmith in turba is in dakate(did i get the spelling, i forget) |

| where is the compound blacksmith on crecent?
also since the compound blacksmith does the upgrading what does a reinforcement compound guy do. Those to really confused me since the game never really explained it.
