| Seeing as every soulhunter chose dominator I thought I'd check out defiler as it is more my style cause I prefer AoE skills. Unfortunately the best skill is unlocked at 54 so I won't get to try it.
Deadly fog hits for 132 each strike 3 times and sometimes the 26 DoT kicks in but very rarely, but unlike bloodstorm this skill always works which is good.

| I didnt solo after i reached 50 so I can't really say but if u like aoe partys id say go for defiler because having a totem that damages and causes stun is awesome for CC I'm sure the stun will last longer once leveled up also. If you like the extremely buggy summon system play dominator.

| According to a Russian skill chart here, Trap of Stiffness will increase to a 5 second stun when the skill is lvl 5 (at level 74), totem will last 14 seconds, range will be 10m, effects up to 8 targets. Each level after that just adds power, no duration or range.
Defilers do seem like the good AoE class, they can max out Blood Storm and Blood Moon as well. |

I was hoping for a faster cast time on the trap but even at 2 seconds it's an interesting skill...
It gives us ample time to chain lithify ... drop a trap in the window when you know lithify will break.
With blood storm and fog...both should be able to hit a lithified target...Will you try fog on a lithified target for us when you get a chance?
Gives us an out as well when being run down by nuking classes... if we drop a trap they have to run through it or around it to keep us in range ... that gets us out of nuke range while lenatore and kaz can soften up.
I been leaning towards defiler for a while now for pvp...but not set in stone yet

| When I originally made my Soul Hunter, I was planning to go defiler, until I did some research. I did learn that Defiler is an AoE class. I am not an AoE person. haha, I prefer the CCs and buggy pet system, though good job for making it! Gratz. Do you do decent dps? Do you think, personally, you could take on a Dominator? I know you get Kazera and Lenatore, but your kinda jipped out of your healing pet and your nuker, although, you get a wider range of AoEs and DoTs. I just personally think the AoEs and DoTs are crap in this game. Maybe if they got a buff. The DoTs really need help. |

| It would be a pretty sick AoE class if that trap of stiffness pulses the stun every 2 seconds. Balanced though because you sacrifice arguably the best part of the first class (pets) and it has a 2 second casting time. |

What do you actually want to obtain from them or what info do you want from them? Cause I can deliver every single information from a defiler.
Defiler aren't unique any more, besides did you look at the date this topic has been created?
June 2008!
My defiler got born a week or 2 after he posted this topic ^^
